Biography

In 2007, I participated in the 6th Biennale Internazionale della Arte Contemporanea in Firenze, Italy, exhibiting digital paintings.

In 2008, I received the 3rd Prize in the mode of engraving of the 1st Biennial of Contemporary Art of the University of Chapingo, Mexico, "Arte con raiz en la Tierra", also with digital paintings.

I was born in a small rural town in Brazil, Bela Vista do Paraíso, on October 27, 1962. I lived all my early childhood on the farm, on a coffee farm. I picked guavas and jabuticabas in the trees. I ran after chickens in the yard and drank the crystal clear water from the fountain, supported by the banana leaf.

Later, I graduated in Fine Arts from Santa Marcelina College in São Paulo, where I also obtained a Master's Degree in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University.

I started in plastic arts at the atelier of the sacred artist Henrique Aragão, in Ibiporã City, in 1982.

In 2007, I participated in the 6th Biennale Internazionale della Arte Contemporanea in Firenze, Italy, exhibiting digital paintings.

In 2008, I received the 3rd Prize in the mode of engraving of the 1st Biennial of Contemporary Art of the University of Chapingo, Mexico, "Arte con raiz en la Tierra", also with digital paintings.

I live and work in Londrina, Brazil.
